grew up in the camp gallani, mainly armenians, since the the country was mostley muslim, we were
placed in a section of the city that were all orthodox armenian. my family immigrated from
armenia, durring the genocide (by the turks against armenians and the greek) of 1915. my family
began its journey to the west (america) in 1975 after my mothers passing. greece 1976 was the most

thing to come in my life. from the history to the people and the land just magnificent. in april 20th 1977
we arrived in new york. the journey has come to its end my father had completed his promise
to take his 2 sons out of the middle east and bring them to a new life in the USA.

Musical Timeline
|
| 1992 to 1999 my starting point for creating music.
After years of listening to my heros, i felt it was time for me to creat
my own music. And so it began, with some help from my friend, june domingo
(blues and rock thats his style) and my brother (very ethnic), my journey.
After many years of putting off arrchiving the collection, i finally finished
it. its like a little window looking back on how i started. not much to
work with back then. money was tight. thats all i could afford. 2000 to 2002 my melodic period. being inspiered by so many things around me, nature, people etc. got a hold of a new keyboard KORG N5 wich expanded my horizons. it allowed me to explore sounds and style which i didnt before recording it now on a PC program still only one track at a time very long proces, and it dulled the sound it was getting easier then working with a duel cassette deck. halfway through this phase, i met my good friend and my producer eljase. his vision carried me through this and made it easier to work with recording the matriels. introduced me to various programs but the best one was a program called COOL EDIT 64ttrack recoring with PC. WOW you can just imagine. thanks BUD. 2003 to 2004 2003 saw 2 releases ELEMENTS and BREATHE. with the help of my producer. we set off to fill the void in our live well mine mainly. ELEMENTS is collection of songs from phase three and phase two, filled with anger and sadness and a touch of happiness. and it contains 2 new songs including the first collaberation between eljase and myself titled "Elements". BREATHE was all on its own. a beutifull album wich touches me still. i'm still using KORG N5 and the PC program COOL EDIT. i find them both very usefull to bring my vision forward. 2005 to 2006 after 60 plus albums i still feel i have so much more to cover. learning is great. from hardware to softwear. anything to make music sound realestic comming from a box is a great achevement. with help from my friend and producer eljase, i know ill acheve that goal. in 2005 i started a 10 cd release called "a personal journey". a series of cd's that i feel important to me to voice out my beliefs. the gear is still the same. im finding out that its not the gear its what you do with the gear. 2007 decided to rest and take time to releax from music it lasted 9 months recorded 3 albums and traveled to UTAH to record with EUROPA PRIME. the music flowed very nicley. Paul Martinson and eljase and i recorded some music experimenatl stuff for a possable release in the future, as a europa prime project. BACK to INDEX |
